I agree. I hope it will drop massively in the next couple of weeks. I already tried to shoot with it and it is a nice camera, but it needs to be available for 8'000.- or lower.

very cool looking cam. I just ordered a Nikon D800 that does 36Mp at 4 frames per second for a short bit : )

Excellent. I knew 4k shooting was being pressured to come to the forefront. Now whether you think you need it or not it is certainly nice to have the option. I am just not into the Reds because of cost and reliability for which I know a few shooters who use them use them with reservation and kid gloves. Great news

Okay thanks, I know that they say this camera suppose to fit between the nexfs100 and f3 but with all the features it seems like it will out do the Red Scarlet, Canon c300 and Sony PMW F3

in combination with Twixtor you should be able to get very nice 500 - 1000 fps

well I think in terms of slow-motion it is certainly better than Red Scarlet, C300 and the F3. But for normal shooting speeds, I wish it did not have AVCHD. A codec with 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 with at least 10-bit would be great. Not such AVCHD consumer shit.

Whats the point of all this tech, unless you actually use it for something for profit. Not just reviews reviews reviews.
If all your vids go to the internet or festivals, who's going to see the full quality anyway, unless you're outputing to mass blu-ray production?
