How to create Test Suites?

MTM is a new application included in Microsoft VS 2010 Ultimate and VS Test Professional 2010. MTM needs to connect to a TFS server, after connecting to TFS, you can create a test plan and add any test suites, test cases, or configurations that you need.



MTM is mainly used for managing the test process. It helps to create a test plan to let us know what we need to test next. It also creates test configuration to let us know testing should be done under what kind of environment. It tracks the test by recording the test log and gathers diagnostic information when you run tests and automatically adds this information to a bug.



MTM is primarily for the generalist tester who wants to create manual test cases, run these tests and view the results as part of a test plan. You can also run automated tests from Microsoft Test Manager if an automated test is associated with a test case. This webinar will focus on testing with the help of Microsoft VSTS 2010.
