How To Install an X99 CPU (Intel Socket LGA 2011-v3)

A simple video on how to install an Intel CPU on the X99 chipset platform. Featuring the i7-5960x and ASRock X99 Taichi.

The X99 Chipset features intels socket LGA 2011-v3 and only accepts CPUs compatible with that socket.

Thanks mate, manage to upgrade my 6800k to 5960x!
thats unbelievable what silicone lottery can do.
With 6800k i needed to use 1.375v for stable 4.1ghz with 2600mhz ram
Now with 5960x im doing 4.1ghz with just 1.2v! (Didn't even try lower voltage) and ram easily booted in 2666mhz (same timings obv), when before limit was 2600mhz.

I just bought Intel Xeon and this video calmed me down a great deal. I've never installed an Intel CPU before.

Until now I've been using A8-6600K. But I bought both Intel Xeon E5-2690 V4 and the motherboard for, like, $110 or so. You tell me if it's worth it. ;)
