Hi there. There’s something quite simple in power bi desktop. Go to power query and look for an option named “query dependence “ to see the data sources related to the model and how they are related with each other. Happy Friday and Holidays!

Hi Ruth! Just wondering. The lineage view shows the information at a scope till report/dashboard. I have a requirement where I need to go beyond this, wherein I need to map the lineage staring from the visual level. For example, from lets say a few visuals in a dashboard I need a lineage map (or any other representation) which goes like this: Dashboard visual -> report -> the field in the underlying report's query -> report's dataset - > the data source (SharePoint for example).Based upon my experience with Power BI, I don't think there's any out of the box method yet. Would appreciate any pointers here. Thanks!
