I worked on a restored WW2 PT Boat. We would run the boat in the summers in Oregon.
I cannot imagine these guys doing patrols in the North Atlantic in the winter.
It is beyond cold in that part of the world.
Being in the military armoring business some years ago I was appauld at the fact that there was no armor on the old PT Boats and apparently they have not learned from those lessons even today.

way to mislead people...these were not US marines. they woluldnt be flying the Norway flag if they were US Marines not to mention US Marines dont operate this type of boat

Look at 5, 30. 2 seconds later at least a platoon of marines are assualting the coast and scaling walls. Coastal rangers and CB90 are not to messed about. This is the only thing you need to look at in this video.

2-VERY fast boats working as a team, providing dragging-sonobuoys-guarantee to detect submarines in relatively shallow waters, the fast n deadly, n well-armed against hunting sub-hunter 2-boats be able to sink up to 2-relatively easily n may be up to 3-4submarines send to fish-dinner of enemy subs in Norwegian water (deserve nothing less than stay bottom of Norwegian-sea forever after being eaten by fishes of all kinds), and give them shivering scare to run away but as long as speed boats have enough depth charges (should be able to carry battling up to 4-5 submarines before return to base to reload!).
