I love The Raveonettes, and The Doors. I've know about both bands for years, just didn't know The Raveonettes covered The End until I watched Army of the Dead. Great cover.

Genius. The Ravonettes seem to have taken this Legendary, Classic and kind of returned it to it's original starting point of being a darkly themed love song and given it an extraordinary successful, hypnotic vibe and feel with a cool mix of Acoustic, Electronica and 'Noise. Great, also, to hear the distant sound of Helicopters, neatly reminding the listener of the darker side that the song suggests - not to mention it's fantastic use in the film Apocalypse Now'. Fabulous. I'm sure Jim and Ray approve... and hope that John and Robbie do too. For this True and Die Hard Doors Fan, this cover is just amazing. Thanks for doing it - it won't leave my top play list - ever! Jon
