The Pacific Humanitarian Pathway on Covid -19

The Pacific Islands Forum have established the Pacific Humanitarian Pathway on COVID-19 as a regional response to the pandemic. The Chair of the Forum Foreign Ministers, the Hon Simon Kofe from Tuvalu, introduces the work of the Pathway and how our Blue Pacific region is working together in this crisis.

The Pacific Humanitarian Pathway provides political leadership and oversight on the movement of goods and services to member countries upon request. The Pathway is providing medical supplies, personnel and COVID-19 testing kits to Forum countries. Protocols for the movement of freight and passengers are also in development.
