The rattlin' neds by Googan and the Strike King Ned ocho are also killers! There are plenty of need baits, but these are by far the best. I prefer the Ocho because of its shape, ridges down the body, and how they stand up. Also, I've never tried the slow floater. Normal senkos float pretty well. (An unrelated thing) y'all please try the strike king nessie, and the honeycomb 6"-8" swim bait. Both are great for top water and add nail weights to get a little deeper. You can't go wrong!

This end of summer I started fishing the 3-in fat senkos donkey rig with Texas rigged size one or two EWGs and man I have tore them up I've got so many fish on the donkey rig with the smaller profile

I use a Yum Dinger for my Ned. They are super cheap they sink slow and just cut to length. Cheapest option I've found

Why choose this over a Z Man TRD? Pretty much the same thing, except the TRD is much cheaper.

Seems like you’d constantly get all hung up in the weeds.
