How to expand the central storage while progressing, and some tips on how to handle item management!

Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Play alone or with friends, explore an alien planet, create multi-story factories, and enter conveyor belt heaven!

Construct
Conquer nature by building massive factories across the land. Expand wherever and however you want. The planet is filled with valuable natural resources just waiting to be utilized. As an employee of FICSIT it’s your duty to make sure they come to good use.

Automate
Construct your factories with gracious perfection or build intricate webs of conveyor belts to supply all your needs. Automate trucks and trains to reach your faraway outposts and be sure to handle liquids properly by transporting them in pipes. It’s all about minimizing manual labour!

Explore & Exploit
Venture on expeditions to search for new materials and be sure to put everything to good use. Nature is yours to harvest! You have vehicles, jetpacks, jump pads and more at your disposal to make the exploration easier. Equip the proper safety gear as well, just in case you run into the local wildlife.

I am not sponsored in any way.

You're right, they did update the skybox with the most recent patch. Love the video! Central storage is my favorite thing to build and think about.

The answer to organics in your recycle line is to add in a processing area for them. Have all your monster bits pulled off by a programmable splitter into their own container where you then feed them into a solid fuel factory that can feed back into your line to be stored or sunk as needed. You can do the same with slugs and have them processed into shards and stored (but dont sink those).

Hi TDA, why you not use the last storage on the belt before sink as undefined. So only already defined goods will move to the sink.

Seeing the planets/moons and galaxy fly around the night sky makes me think I'm in a JRPG and the final boss is in the middle of casting their nasty spell on the party.

I have the exact same setup lol ... except mines called recycling instead of dump. Also I added an additional storage container in my hidden logistics room connected to a programmable smart splitter. I simply programmed it with all the random crap the sink can't grind. It's kinda like an actual gunk trap for real sinks.

Love the episode, keep it up, yeah the sky is new, they added it in the patch just gone 😀 That's also what I'm doing with the solid biofuel too, its so easy and useful, I just put mine in a storage box, haven't made a main base for my storage items yet

Thanks for a brilliant episode. What you should do i drop 1 Ficsit Coupon into the Sink (and surprise). Then just one thing. I think that is the Whirlpool Galaxy and not Milky Way. Keep making contents. Baie Dankie van Suid Afrika af.

What is your FOV setting, it looks rather wonky and stretched, and sadly gives me mild motion sickness when you do quick panning :( But a good video regardless

Just build some constructors that turn slugs and animals parts into there next steps and store them. I usually build a separate system for all those items though but it could all be put into one.

Hey TDA, I think you should check out Foundry, you'd love it. I have been playing the alpha branch

Thinking about my central storage area is keeping me awake at night. I want to make it a distribution center as well but my bio CPU can't handle computation 😜

I disagree with your approach regarding the Dump. I'd process the Biomass related Items to Fuel which you coule store or sink after producing. :)
