India is facing a looming power crisis as the country wilts under an intense heatwave. New Delhi's state power minister has said there's only one day's worth of coal reserves in many parts of the country. Power plants are struggling to keep up with the increased power demand as the use of air conditioning and fans skyrockets. Multiple states have faced outages lasting hours. The Delhi government has warned it may not be able to provide uninterrupted electricity to key infrastructure such as trains and hospitals.

Its not lack of coal but logistics failure to get the coal at the plants in timely manner.

If you want something done, ask China.
