Biography Washer reports converting to Christianity while studying at the University of Texas at Austin to become an oil and gas lawyer.[5][6] He moved to Peru and served there as a missionary for 10 years.[7] In 1988, while in Peru,[8] Washer founded the HeartCry Missionary Society to support indigenous missionaries witnessing to people of their own cultures.[9][10] As of 2017, the organization supported 238 missionary families in 41 countries.[11]

Washer later returned to the United States, and has resided in Radford, Virginia, since 2010,[12][13][14] where he continues as the missions director of HeartCry.[15]

Excellent video....finally some doctrinal awareness on youtube. Someone who studies diligently in context without adding or subtracting...so much easy believism junk floating around these days...

Ya know Keith, as a Baptist pastor I meet a lot of 4 point Baptists who struggle with the question of choice and free will. When I explain it biblically they agree with all 5 points. They struggle with predestination too, so I call it Biblical theology and extol the Doctrines of Grace. The Reformation was so good until Arminianism and Liberalism crept into the church. Keep up the good work

5 point Calvinist believe your are first regenerated (saved) and then you receive faith. This is unbiblical. You are saved thru faith (belief), always.

I do not believe this 1:06 and do not believe this is biblical in any way. We have always had a choice, including Adam and Eve in the Garden. See at that point, we had a direct line with God because man was created by God and it was good. God cannot be in the presence of sin/evil. We had 1 instruction, rule, commandment... Do not eat from the one tree.

This was for our own good and at the same time, also a matter of principal. See free will would not be free if there was no alternative choice. God put the tree there and allowed satan to tempt them as a way to prove their free will and test the security in their . This God said don't do it. Eve did so and then convinced Adam to do so. Thus resulted in the direct disobedience of the one Creator and sin entered into humanity. The voluntery transgression. Genesis ch1:v26-31, ch3:v1-7, and Roman's ch5:v12-21

Now just like with any action there are consequences for bad and unholy actions. We were created good (spoken by God Himself Genesis ch1:v26 and ch1:v31. Adam and Eve's actions enacted consequences for their actions (cast out of Eden, death, and generational sin), which resulted in man's separation from God (generational sin). God cannot be in the presence of sin which is why we were cast out of Eden and our relationship with God changed.

Now the baseline of what is good is God's moral law. This was given to us by God through Moses later on as a way to understand 2 things. 1. What is good in God's eyes. 2. How no man is able to be considered good again by their own account. Now this is where the Grace and Mercy of God come in by offering us a path of redemption and once again, walk with God as we did in the beginning. Throght the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who's perfect and untainted blood, now washes over and cleanses the sin filled hearts of man. It is only by this that we can be redeemed and be gifted the Holy Spirit as a way to guide/grow us in Godly ways and transform us as we become reconditioned as a child of God.

As in any transition, it is a process that takes time. But the assurance in the moment that when we put our sole faith and trust in Jesus, who is the only way AND decide to turn away from our sins and pleasures of this world, are we SEALED with the promise and assurance of God; our names are written in the Book of Life and NO One can pluck us away from the hand of the Father. Amen!!🙏🏼
