Clean Code - Book Review

I’ve recently read “Clean Code” by Robert C. Martin and… I wish I'd read this book 10 years ago when I was starting my journey as a professional developer. Let me explain to you why I believe that every Junior Developer should read… at least part of this book.

I love Clean Coding book. I have been programming for 40+ years and like you I wish I could have read this book earlier. When I read this book I hadn't did any Java programming in about 10 years. I think most of the book is going to be useful for any language. Some of the examples that are in the Java weeds can be brushed over, but not many.

Uncle Bob has some really great videos as well. They are fun to watch because Uncle Bob plays different characters.

This book changed the way I think about programming.

If Clean Code ever gets a second edition, it will NOT have a forward by Casey Muratori, that's for sure.

Im nearing the end of my education and can see myself coding in c#, uncle bob says that java and c# is basically the same thing so i guess this book would be worth it haha,
shouldnt have much trouble translating the java examples into c#

How's that not suitable for Kotlin?
Kotlin is basically modern Java. I guess it depends the way you code in Kotlin but the book remains very applicable to Kotlin imo
