The ancient city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan is at the very heart of the Silk Road. Starting with ancient Sogdian civilization leading up to Alexander the Great, The great Persian King Xerxes, and many more including the Russian Empire the people of Uzbekistan have been through a lot.

I live in Táshkent (capital of Uzbekistan🇺🇿) I liked your video. It is very fascinating, it influenced to me.

History of Táshkent is fabulous, too. It was capital of Turkish Kağanate in one period of its history, and it was vital city of Karakhanid Kağanate.

Tashkent is suğdian and turkic area (in our period more turkic) "Táshkent" means "City of stone" and there are other theories, too.
