We had some time to take care of RV maintenance tasks last summer which included repacking the RV trailer wheel bearings. This is an easy DIY that can save you a few hundred dollars. Repacking the wheel bearings should be done every 12 months or 12,000 miles. Thanks so much for watching! -Matt & Laurie

Just want to say a big thanks for this very informative video. I’ve been looking for someone in this rv living like ourselves doing maintenance. Now I can have a go myself. We have had ours now coming up 3 years and have had lots of issues and only 1 year warrantee. We are in New Zealand. Also your new keyless entry I’m ordering one of them to. Thanks guys safe travels Dai & Ange 🤙

You should set your bearings with a torque wrench, set at 50 lbs, to just by hand with channel locks. This is right in Dexter Axles instructions, that came with our trailers.

Can you list off your supplies, parts, materials / consumables, and tools?

Amazon link did not show them?

you mentioned to rotate tires at same time - do you just move front to back on same side?

Good video. At the end, it's probably good to spin the hub to make sure it's freely spinning and do a final pull test in hub by hand. Otherwise great information! Did you ever get your replacement hub saver pair? Thanks again!

Great video! Need to do our 22MLS, very similar to your rig. Did you ever get your hub saver washers figured out? Did they send the wrong ones or did you misorder?

Quick question for you. It sounded like your wheel was making a slight grinding noise even after you repacked the bearing. I greased mine through the EZ-Lube system for the first time and I noticed it made that same grinding sound. Is that a normal sound even if greased properly?

You have nylon bushings which do not get greased.

Looks like you also needed to replace the turbo encabulator and top off the flux capacitor.

Quality bearings are not expensive. If you are pulling it all apart, change the bearings….
