I got this saw almost 2 years ago. Still going strong and use it multiple times a month. I have used it with a dado set and different sized blades. I plug a shop vac into the back and it works really well.
The only complaint I have is the insert isn't firm. You need to be careful and not apply too much pressure on the piece you're cutting in that area. Push sticks help a lot for this.
I would recommend this saw as well for any new woodworker. Prices right for a very good saw.

Picked up this saw myself 2 weeks ago after watching your review. It's pretty feature packed for its price and size. Rack and pinion fence is oh so good compared to my old table saw.

Got one a week ago, I haven't had the time to do much with it yet but seems great. Very compact nad easy to transport but still sturdy enough and the test cut I made were fairly accurate. The only gripe is it's really noisy but I guess that's true for most budget saws. Also the start up is violent and loud, I'm planning on adding a soft start module.

My hubby bought me a Rigid one for Christmas last year. I wish i had gone with a different one. The fence isn't always perfectly straight even though i measure from the front, middle and back of the blade, so my projects end up being out of whack, and the miter gauge is a joke.

Beginners on a budget should buy a skill saw. A table saw is a huge investment if you’re just starting out and if you use a straight edge or just a steady hand you can still get the same result most of the time.

I prefer to spend money when it comes to quality, I went dewalt. Nothing wrong with this saw but you'll need to do some tweaking.
