There's a tendency among people to applaud these people for working in such harsh conditions, this is wrong. You should pity them at the same time. Anyone who has worked in a hazardous industrial environment knows how little it takes to drastically improve the safety of these operations. Just helmets and steel/composite toe boots drop workplace injuries significantly. What you don't see on YouTube is the number of these guys who suffer debilitating injuries and lose their livelihood. It's really sad. We get a lot of such people coming back from dubai and Saudi Arabia.
