Yo man your commentary is second to none. Now if everyone else on YouTube could flow like that, the world would be a better place for sure.

When I wrote "osiris new dawn review" in YouTube, I saw you, another guy and a guy with like 130K subscribers. I must admit, I visited the 3rd guy's channel first and his review sucks. I then got here and was present a very informative, not boring and very relaxing review of the game and even some side information. Thank you, you have me as a subscriber!

Bravo sir... Well put together video outlining what seems to be a pretty intriguing game where others have recently failed so miserably.

Keep up the good work and your subscriber base will grow!

Good review. I find it really impressive that a little team like this can compete to all these AAA+ titles. Havn't played it yet, but in your review it looks like these dudes know how to create some immersive moments.

This guy has a great narrative voice. One that doesn't make me want to turn down the volume or vomit on my shoes.

Good content, high quality sound, you have earned yourself a sub. Now all you need is to give the games a number out of 10 at the end of the reviews and they will be second to none

Wow, just, WOW! This is by far the cleanest and most precise review I've seen in a long time. Great job!

I'm amazed at how great this game looks and surprised I've never even heard of it. The way it switches to horror-esque gameplay at night is awesome. Definitely looking forward to trying this out.

I gotta say DT, instant fan here. Love the production of your videos + the type of gaming content you put out. Makes for great discussions I think! I'll be lurking here more often =p. Subbed and keep up the good work man!

Cheers,
Adrian

I have played over 50 hours of the game so far and ill relate my suggestions as to what the game still needs, a copy of the feedback i sent to the developer through steam forums.

1- More diamond caves entrances/more caves, better navigational capability inside a cave (in whatever way such as flares, breadcrumbs i dont care... but something);
2- More interaction with giant sand worms. Add graphical "burrowholes" (pretty annoying not seeing a 300 ton giant worm not leave any type of mark on the ground) to exit and re-entrance points. Make it so they are killable somehow and also more of a threat (like literally chasing ppl around).

3-Add a cooldown timer to structure and vehicle destructability in pvp (say 12 hours after player went offline they become destructable). As it is now ppl log off and come back couple hours later just to find everything wrecked to the bare bones of structures and they just permanently quit... all my worlds are littered with "owned by avatar 767439" designatios.. all quiters. Also if a character is deleted, remove their structures and make room for new players.... demolishing habitats with pickaxe swings just doenst cut it....
4-Make containers and player bodies lootable to actually encourage pvp battling.

5 Expand that world... really after a bit it feels like a little sandbox, this needs to be at least 5 times current size. Also where are the sandpits that every desert sci fi has that can eat you whole or harbor deadly aliens with big round mouths full of teeth?;
6- Add defensive structures such as turrets, laser tripwires, mines, fortified walls, scouting drones, defensive mechs etc... Also weapons.. different kinds for different enemies, specialized for demolishing structures (like bombs or some such, pickaxe swings are not efficient to destroy habitats, verified fact!)
7-Enhance the mechanic that doesnt allow players to lay down structures to close to already existing ones, seriously this needs to point out where is the closest structure and how many meters away from it you need to beto be able to build a new one, that "red dome" visual cue sucks...
8-Make the critters more.. just more. More violent more numerous, capable of attacking your structures, more diverse and even to be a kind of usable resource such as chitinous shells or blood for paint or whatever, as they are now they are little more than target practice ... also in 60 hours not once had i had to eat their meat to stay alive.
9-enhance the gas geyser mechanics.. like filling all barrels at once for starters, also make chlorine oxygen useful for something.. as they stand they are just landmarks to guide ppl around being that players only need hydrogen. Maybe even add structures to automatically collet and transfer them such as gasducts and refineries and whatnot.
10- Tweak values for resources ... like ammount mined and ammount consumed for stuff. Example if you want to build 1 of everything i dont think you even need 50 plutonium. They only stack up to 10 and the most consumed at any one time is 5... So why do we swing 2 times at a node and gather around 30 units and pretty much super over encumber the characters with it... the whole thing is just off.Same goes to some extent to every other ore resource out there.
11-FInd the files regarding the existing portable map feature and DELETE THEM... seriously even fallout games have better maps than we currently have to agonize over...also the characters have a pda on their left forearm and somehow need to whip out a handheld 1980s mac computer just to see their coordinates... by 2050 i hope our real world astronauts have a map display with coordinates built in their visor hud somehow...
12-Lastly make it vertically interesting... we spent hours trying to see if any of those floating rocks had anything (azornium... wtf where is that crap?).. like, anything at all worth checking out... was disappointed. We need to be able to land on those rocks, mine them, carve them flat and even build habitats or whateer on them.

So to sum it up.. this could be what no man's sky never ever could.. a fun sci fi survival and exploration game.

You know what would be interesting to implement in the game? Gravity variation.

The less gravity means it's a smaller planet with less pull on you, because of that you will expend less energy to transport items and your self around the planet. The issue is that the planet is small and will run out of resources if you depend on it. The other way around with big planets is also the idea.

This seems to be a game going on my list of 2017, good job on the review!

I beat the game in about 15 hours, meaning I explored the new planet, got all the vehicles and buildings, and weapons. I simply wish the game had more content and replay value.
