YES TO THE BLURB ONE!!! Oh my God, when I'm looking at a book I want to be able to know what it's about with a quick glance at the back, not a whole bunch of quotes from other authors or organisations. Or even worst when I have to open the book to read the blurb on the inside flap...

I definitely agree with about cheating in books. I think it gets romanticised way too much. It sends the message to readers that cheating is exciting and sexy and that the person being cheated on is always an afterthought.

Also, FAKE STICKERS WHAT THE HELL!?

When I buy from thriftbooks.com, they put a sticker on the spine and half the time, it'll take part of the actual cover off of the spine. IT MAKES ME SO SAD. And I hate cover changes! Haha, I feel like all booklovers detest cover changes. Why do the publishers even think of doing that?!

Real stickers on books aren't that hard to get off. Just use a hairdryer on it then try taking it off. No sticky residue!

Stickers on books are the WORST! Especially when you peel it off and it does come off straight away but it rips away some of the book cover as well.... GAH!!
And fake stickers... omg.. WHY!?! I have one my copy of City of Bones and it is MASSIVE!

So at a book store i went to they had all of the Mortal Instruments in the original covers. BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE CITY OF LOST SOULS! And i thought 'ok I'll just get it from barnes and noble' BUT THEY ONLY HAD THE NEW VERSIONS! UGH and City of Bones i have in the movie edition and I'm just like "THESE DON"T MATCH" IT BOTHERS ME!

They did that to Unspoken. The first book cover was beautiful then they changed it to this generic book cover. I actually forgot about it and every single time I went to the bookstore, I walked right past it because it didn't stand out.

I completely agree with the bad boy/bad girl thing, oh my god. I can't think of a time off the top of my head in YA where I've read that but VAMPIRE DIARIES. It drives me up the freaking wall how everything Damon does is justified by the fandom, writes, AND THE CHARACTERS HE ABUSED but then Katherine is written off as a manipulative bitch when she did less than him but with more of a reason lmao. Drives me completely nuts, I can't stand that kind of writing.

Just on a note about the stickers thing: Agreed. And... I dunno, can't they start using those wrap things (banderole? was that the term?) like you see it often in Japan, for example? I mean, they would wrap so nicely around the book or the front cover, cost as much in production AND could be used as bookmark...

Yes stickers! I recently bought Sythe (I hope I spelled that right) and it had a sticker. I tried to take it off and...it ripped the cover 😭
