Can I just say, though, that Sam is WAY underrated? Like, he:
• Had to deal with a disturbing and annoying Gollum

• Had to deal with an increasingly cranky and slightly creepy Frodo

• Literally carried Frodo for a while

• Fought a giant spider

• Was really angry and upset when he thought a spider killed Frodo (which shows his loyalty and friendship), AND

•Now everybody makes fun of him and treats him like he's "just the sidekick."

Samwise Gamgee was pretty awesome. Think about it.
