I'm not a fan of the Kalos soundfont, but this theme slaps, for me the best theme of X and Y.

I love how after a while the games become so nostalgic that we think back and go, "that game was not all bad"; the same feeling of Pokemon White and Black from a while back. I love hearing this remaster of the Kalos trainer battle theme. It feels more in line with the games, in my opinion. It is a bit more muted and all the background instruments are enhanced (also the connection to the gym battle theme in the more electronic parts). Thank you, Zame! Keep up the amazing work!

The XY games are almost 11 years old, and that’s not okay for me because I turned 10 in 2013. In fact, I turned 10 the same month they released.

2013 was the year I became a REAL Pokemon trainer. Ugh, I feel old and the nostalgia causes really intense emotions.
