KIUAS - From The Anchorage (Official Lyric Video)

Returning to the stage in their original lineup in 2022, the metal band Kiuas finally makes a return to the realm of releases with their new EP "Samooja: Pyhiinvaellus"

The EP represents the band's first new music release in 14 years, creatively revisiting the atmosphere of the band's initial albums. The recording and mixing of "Samooja" were handled by Nino Laurenne of Sonic P ump Studios, with mastering completed by Svante Forsbäck of Chartmakers.

Formed in the early 2000s, Kiuas is known for its musical versatility and strong themes, and the new EP is no exception. It combines heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and profound storytelling into a unique whole.

"This EP is a monumental milestone in many ways, as it is the first release of the rejuvenated Kiuas and the band's first concept album, guiding the listener into the epic saga of Samooja," excitedly shares composer-guitarist Mikko Salovaara.

The EP will be released on March 1st 2024 on streaming platforms and later in the spring as limited vinyl and CD editions, with pre-orders starting soon.
