I have gilding in my craft stash, too that I have not used for about 2 years. This really inspired me to get it out and use it again.

I love my guilding flakes! To get an even better look, try using a stiff stencil brush to remove the excess flakes. It removes those tiny bits much better and kind of shines-up the flakes. Another way to adhere the flakes is using sticky embossing powder. Super fun to use with stamps.

☘️☘️☘️ Great cards Justine, I will definitely have to dig out my gilding flakes now. Happy St. Patrick's Day from Ireland, I hope you and all your family and friends are healthy and well... rita ☘️

This video is awesome! Absolutely loved the shot of you blowing on the gilding flakes and they fly away! Cannot wait to try this out. Thank you for sharing and having fun! 💕

I have all the stuff to do quilling in my craft room for years and I still have not used them. I have used gilding flaks before but I’m not too crazy about them. Your cards are very pretty. Thank you for sharing

Beautiful results from those gilding flakes. I have tons of stickers, ribbon and ephemera that I bought and have never used.

Thank you, Justine. I also have a jar of gilding flakes just sitting there and didn't know quite how to use it. The stars look beautiful.

Thanks for sharing how to actually use these flakes. I just bought some for a specific project but didn’t wait for the glue to get tacky. I have the proper glue, so will try again.

I love how effective you communicate! Thank you for NOT BLABBING ON as so many YT do. Very nice video. I too have an extra large HSN box full of gilding supplies. That stuff last much longer than the fun of using it!

Hi Justine, you should use a stiff brush to sweep all of the flakes out of the way after you burnish it. It is a lot easier than using your fingernails to clean out all of those little stars. Cool cards! 😎

Got several jars of gilding flakes that have been gathering dust and were destined for the local charity shop. You've just saved them. Thanks

This video was so timely. Just what I needed just when I needed it. I went so far as to open my chocolate gold gilding flakes, then closed it. It does expand to overflow the jar and it is beautiful. All your cards are beautiful and I love the hugs cards. I didn't realize both parts could be used. All in all a great video with tons of options. Thank you Justine. ❤️🇨🇦❤️

I too have some unused gilding flakes. Time to get gilding. Thanks for the demos, they were very helpful.

Justine I think that the reason I enjoy the Resource Binder Classes is that I am forced to use things that have been sitting around or to use new things that I probably wouldn't have used. Also started using Cricut after a 3 year hiatus thanks to your video. Glad I did. You get right to the point which I appreciate. You do a great job.

Gilding flakes (I never knew how to use it, either-had it for at least 5 years) & flocking powder, pop up dies. Gilding looks like fun, or at least, you make it look like fun! 😀

Best to use a scoochie sponge or a stencil brush to remove the excess flakes. Scoochie sponges are sold by Indigo Blu amongst other companies.

I have some copper gilding and after seeing the fun you had with yours, I think I will give it a try! I did see someone use an old clamshell case to capture the excess and store it!
