The Russian fox experiment is one of the most fascinating looks at the "Friendly gene". Over 50 years they bred the most docile foxes together. They also bred the most aggressive foxes together. By the 50 year mark the docile group ended up having their appearances drastically changed. Their ears got floppy, their coats had spots and different colors, and they barked. They literally got more adorable and dog like. The aggressive foxes however were your standard looking fox. Just very very mean. Look it up, it's really cool

Apparently, in recent fox domestication efforts, they realized that the gene(s) allowing them to be more dog-like (weird phrasing, sorry), also gave the foxes floppy ears.

Huskies have a direct link to their wolf ancestors: they both lack certain facial muscles, or at least they are under developed. Most modern dogs have them in an operational form.

wolves can’t weigh up to 180 pounds that’s crazy the biggest wolf ever was killed in alaska and weighed 143 pounds so they’re you go that’s the biggest 😂
