"The U.S. is taking this (Julian Assange's) case because they want to silence the publisher. It is that simple," said Stella Moris, who is Julian Assange's partner, in an exclusive interview with CGTN on Sunday.

Very true. Government crimes specifically u.s.a. regime's war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Government wrongdoings against innocent people should never be classified as state secrets so exposing them should never be a crime.

Leaders of the Five Eyes are keeping the oath of Omerta to the injustice inflicted upon Julian Assange. Australian prime minister Scott Morrison is completely silent i.e. no diplomatic protest, no expression of disgust despite Assange being an Australian citizen; the UK is complicit in jailing him, and not a word out of Canada and New Zealand.

It's in large part all about the money. Who benefits from offensive military interventions perpetrated by the USA? Are those corporations being supported in their sale of a huge amount of offensive weaponry? Who are they paying to keep them receiving many billions of dollars of taxpayers money? Could those companies be tied to this? Could the individual beneficiaries be causing a lot more trouble than just smiling to their donors? Who tells the US government what to do? Who provides all those security briefings? Who lays all the groundwork for policy engineering that creates an offensive force in the world? A defense force in the USA only needed roughly 190 F22's, not the 700 that were envisioned. Clearly the delicate culture of fix-the-biggest-problems has radically changed.

Governments from around the world with moral integrity should form a coalition to push for war crime charges against the US in the United Nation General Assembly.
