My voice used to be so much smoother and more mature when I was 13 and teaching children/customer service has made it so squeaky and cutesy. I'll definitely be working every day to get that smoothness back!

Who is here because they speak English as a second language and has to learn all of these in addition to trying to be fluent. Man, it's overwhelming. But you are not alone!

This channel helped me a lot. I improved my speaking skills in English thanks to this channel.

Keep exercising guys. The results will come faster than you think they will.

Hi, I have selective mutism. I have overcome it somewhat, but I mumble, have a squeaky voice, and speak too quietly. This helped a lot, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Not only do you sound like YouTuber Elliot Hulse, your hand gestures are exactly what he does as well. Now I know why he sounds like he sounds.

Your voice reminds me of the Chronicles of Narnia audiobook collection narration.

My friends tell me that I don't sound harsh anymore. Before the course, they used to tell me to speak more 'sweetly' or 'watch your tone'.

Darren, I have a moral question when it comes to improving my voice. Elizabeth Holmes was known to have faked a deep voice to project competence while running the Theranos scam, and people online have claimed that this is sociopathic. Would I, someone who simply want's to fix my uneven voice, and objectively poor speaking patterns be considered sociopathic as Holmes was? Thanks.

Do you have a less dramatic version of talking "throaty" because, I've heard nasally voices, exactly like the example you showed, but I've never heard a throaty voice, or if I have, not as extreme as the example you gave.

I realised that sometimes I sound like I'm mad although I'm not when talking to people.

Does having the sound move forward out the mouth create a smoother flowing voice?

I'm starting to learn how to speak more calmly and smoothly
Im very shy, and I become nervous while talking

I have a deep voice and I’m a girl. I want to be an actor/voice actor so I want my voice to be more feminine and not so deep. Can you help me?
