Fast Serve Training - Great Potential for an Ace or a 3rd Ball Attack

Показать описание
This serve has been giving me a lot of points these days, and I'm not even good at it yet. It's a new discovery for me and I love it... You can serve this particular serve best to LP players.... But I am getting great results from SP players as well as pips in players too. There is no trick here... no fake motions or deceptions... Your opponent has to deal with the speed. The faster you serve, the better it is. but, you have to be careful cause you may easily catch the net or miss the table while serving... Also, if your opponents is able to counter attack with a decisive and aggressive block. the ball now is in your court!
To make this serve more effective, it is a good idea to serve it to different locations. Not always BH to BH corner as in this video.
There are 3 more locations one can practice. And they are super effective too.
Those are
* BH to FH corner
* BH to Wide BH
* and BH to Pocket ( Hip or Elbow Area )
You may serve them a little slower as they already have their own pluses and there is less need for a faster execution.
By mixing and matching these locations against your opponents, you can create a lot of uncertainty and hence pushing them away from table to catch them off guard with a super short one. :)
Key steps
Step 1: Toss the ball high enough ( 6 inch ) and let it drop enough low ( 6 inch ) so you are not called for a fault serve. That's a must!
Step 2: Leave some room with the table.
Step 3: You must hit the ball at net level as must as possible. So wait for the ball to drop
Step 4: Hit with a 45 degree bat angle or perhaps even more. That will create a top spin.
Step 5: Aim at your own corner as perfect as possible.
With step 3,4,5 perfected, you will get one heck of a serve and that will be even difficult to detect whether it touches the net or not! It's a tough call! And the best part is the ball reaches its fastest speed and kick moment at the 2nd bounce!
Here is a slightly slower version of the same serve in action:
