Western Europeans evolved within extremely high-trust societies, otherwise they never would've been capable of overcoming the ice ages they were forced to endure. I'd imagine this "altruism gene" most certainly developed as a result.

Well, I'm not a misogynist, however my first instinct was to draw a conclusion that the altruism "gene" is but a female trait to love and nurture. With so many women in politics and voting, these countries show a female tendency to help all without regard to safety and ignoring why boarders exist in the first place. Notice all the presenters are also women, so they can't see the obvious.

Most interesting video yet Blonde, but I would say that as I have a biology degree- very familiar with the work of Dawkins, Hamilton etc. If you haven't come across Prisoners' Dilemma in game theory I suggest you check it out. The most effective strategy is Tit for Tat ie be nice until the other person betrays you, then retaliate, if they change, forgive them and revert to being nice. Being nice and forgiving all the time is a losing strategy if the other party doesn't reciprocate, and that is what the Swedes seem to be doing. You hear of people being raped and then making excuses for the person who raped them. It's insanity.

Notice the contrast in behaviour between the Swedes who haven't had massive immigration in the past and eastern European countries who were the target of Ottoman aggression eg Hungary, Austria. The Swedes are like the dodos who had no natural predators and as a consequence were so tame that they were easy targets for European sailors that they went extinct. The eastern Europeans know full well what happens if they're not vigilant and have a healthy cultural suspicion of invaders. Pathological altruism is suicide.

fantastic video. It's easy to forget the biological instinctual side to human behavior. Great work. I am over in Norway and we luckily elected a conservative government right before the immigrant crises really got a hold. Our new government gets racists remarks all the time, but they really saved our country. But we still have problems and will continue have problems. The leftist media here, like in America is mostly all of the MSM is saying that it's the police work that is the reason we don't have the same problems as Sweden. That the police is talking to the migrants and have a "constant dialogue" with the immigrant communities. But the truth is that our previous socialist governments that outlined the social benefit law that immigrants are basically rich when they get here without having to work for the rest of their life.

I'm American and live in Holland. I've been living here for about 2.5 years. I know you're coming to Amsterdam next. Travel to The Hague, and Rotterdam for a better perspective of immigration in Holland. Amsterdam is filled with many tourists, and is much more white Dutch people. Rotterdam in particular will feel very different.

I live in The Hague, which has the nickname of Jihad city. Schilderswijk is the mainly immigrant area of the city that has the most trouble.
