putting a little oil on the pin and greasing the hole helps to insert tight fittings. The grease gets way more slippery, do it all the time at work with the hydraulic pumps, and motors.

Not an expert in jawa but i think you put the pistons wrong not sure tho! Bc the hole is on the admision side and i know that from a small 50cc monocilinder 2 stroke
