In this video, we will read an Excel file into a pandas DataFrame. We will see the usual error received when you do not have the Engine installed. We will install 'xlrd' to overcome the error 'missing optional dependency xlrd' while reading an xls file. Also we will install openpyxl for reading newer versions of excel files.

Thank you so much for this, I’ve been stuck in this situation for days.
I am very confused tho, I was able to import the excel data without having to use this method just now.
