Did anyone else notice the bottom pages were drawn in perspective to match the 2D plane of the top pages? When it animates, the perspective changes, and slightly breaks the 2D barrier, causing a surreal zoom illusion.

The second I heard the music playing in the Nintendo Direct announcement I got literal goosebumps. This game was my escape for much of my childhood and always made me feel so much better the instant I started playing it. I never imagined they'd remake this game, no matter how much I wanted them to. The fact that it's actually happening has me feeling like a kid again with the sheer amount of excitement. Of all the farming and life sim games out there, A Wonderful Life always had the best atmosphere in my opinion. Now, with all the improvements and QOL changes they are bringing to it, I feel like it's going to be a great return to what made me love farm-sim games in the first place. I haven't felt this way about a game release since first reading about the original Wonderful Life in Nintendo magazines as a kid.

The part where he started to get old makes me cry. I remember the emotion the 11 year-old me experienced the moment I beat the game in PS2. He had spent so much time with me through my days, be it school days or vacation. To see him growing old and then die in the ending makes me feel like I'm seeing a close friend dying in front of me. 10/10 would play again

One of the mostly original game trailer I have seen in a long while, the style of the draws and the presentation truly goes well with SoS, I just love and 27th June feels extremely far to play this, I'm excited.

I would like to have the interactive comic now as an extra in the limited edition. But it would probably be quite complicated to produce it in mass.

I don’t know I feel that this confirms we still die at the end of this but I really hope we get to see our child have a romantic interest which would be really cool. I believe it would be a first in the series?

This is so cute. I downloaded the Japanese version already because I cannot wait and it is GORGEOUS (will also be buying the version from the US store in summer because I support and I desperately want you all to remake Magical Melody too😉).

This remake is seriously good and fixes the more tedious pieces of the original.

This was my childhood game that I would play all the time. I would start a new game over and over again, reliving the game through different saves.
Building relationships with some characters more than others on each save, choosing different spouses each time.
The original means so much to me, and I remember sobbing when I actually got an ending on one save.
I’m so excited for this remake, I hope it’s amazing.
