Kaulana nā pua aʻo Hawaiʻi, Kūpaʻa ma hope o ka ʻāina! - "Famous are the children of Hawaiʻi, ever loyal to the land!"

In honor of our #Jam4MaunaKea 2-Year Anniversary, we present this never-before-seen video featuring hundreds of kiaʻi at Puʻuhonua O Puʻuhuluhulu singing "Kaulana Nā Pua", originally written in 1893 by Ellen Kehoʻohiwaokalani Wright Prendergast for the Royal Hawaiian Band to protest the illegal annexation of Hawaiʻi to the United States. We continue to remember the generations of protectors who have stood and continue to stand for their ʻāina. Kū Kiaʻi Mauna!
