Your trip so far is a TOTAL success, don't think any other way. It's a great experiment and we've all learned from it. I'm an electronics engineer - my suggestion is that for this kind of adventure you need someone to hook you up with a special charger that goes straight from the panels to the bike batteries. Then take 1 spare bike battery & a little converter to charge your laptop, phone, camera. Fewer losses as heat, less faff.

I use foldable solar panels with my twizy aswell! 4 panels are not even close to be enough even on a really good day! You need at least 8 to 10 x200 watt solar panels and the powerstation to handle it.

19:23 I'm actually relieved. I know from experience that pacing one's self after an injury or operation is hard to do... I have no doubt that there will be drama and adventure to come.
