LEGO Harry Potter 2018 Quidditch Match 75956 Review!

Time for Quidditch! Join me as I review LEGO Harry Potter Quidditch Match 75956, a 2018 LEGO Harry Potter set recreating the Gryffindor vs Slytherin Quidditch match and featuring LEGO Harry Potter minifigures Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Severus Snape, Oliver Wood, Lucian Bole and Marcus Flint plus exclusive LEGO Golden Snitch element.

LEGO 75956 Quidditch Match is a great recreation of the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch complete with viewing towers for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. The 2018 LEGO Quidditch set also includes goalposts with three golden hoops and a neat interactive feature which allows the keeper to fly around defending the hoops from incoming Quaffles.

The LEGO Gryffindor viewing tower has a swinging door for players to fly through. Hufflepuff's tower features the house crest and a scoreboard with four team names so you can recreate other fixtures from the Quidditch schedule. The Ravenclaw LEGO Quidditch viewing platform has the magical megaphone as used by Lee Jordan in the year one Quidditch games. Finally, the Slytherin house viewing platform has a neat interactive function recreating the scene where Harry Potter is being jinxed and Hermione thinks Snape is responsible setting his robes on fire as a distraction.

Included in the LEGO Harry Potter Quidditch Match set is all the equipment you need to play including Bludgers, Quaffles, Golden Snitch and a bat for the beaters to defend themselves from the errant Bludgers. To recreate the excitement of the game, we have two LEGO stud shooters: one to launch Bludgers at the opposing Quidditch team and another that attaches to a broomstick to launch the Quaffle at the three golden hopps that make up the goalposts.

I'm so glad I decided to pick this up at the Lego store! I even bought the Draco figure off of ebay to go with it. I'll just have to manage my family members (ages 57 and 61) from being too competitive and loosing the Quaffles.
