This is a update video covering some of the changes made by the Vertical Slice 1.2 update to Space Engineers 2! This update covered a substantial amount of things where among minor changes, things such as ship controls where changes to fly more like elite dangerous by following the mouse movement with a slight delay rather that behaving like Space Engineers 1! They also added models and animations for both the Debug Gun and the Paint Tool, with for the paint gun a undo function, so now you can remove any painting mistake you make! I also over the adjustable camera where you can move the third person view slightly to the left and right to make shooting and painting easier!

I don't cover everything with this just the parts that I found the most important with this update!

These updates are exciting, with continued progress like this I will happily buy SE2!

For the ship gyros controls. Maybe a toggle option in the cockpit/control seat. To switch between the two modes.

That way on large heavy ships you can do the leading control.
And on small/nimble ships you can have the quick response.

Or change it on the fly

i think that the circle is good for pointing the ship where you exactly want to go instead of spinning around then having to go back a bit because you missed where you wanted to stop i think we just need to get used to it the other adjustments are really cool

2:29 Thought; to much gyro strength.
The jaggedness; The gyro's are meeting halfway to where your pointing to fast.
The wiggle when still; The gyro's are over compensating for the middle point.

Ya know, this reminds me about a video on making something hover smoothly or the like, which required adjustment of the thrusters to prevent a jagged sharp response.

If the devs don't build to handle performance, then I'm not touching it. If the game doesn't run a one l star wars death star then theirs still no point in playing it.

Did anybody else got from Marek that piston at rotors is in the game file. But just not flushed out(hence hiden)?

How about y'all also put the nebulas and skyboxes as pretty as in freelancer 2003 othen then just the mouse ship control. Tho I do applause the mouse ship control. Will see

Not being able to look down the sites of the pistol is annoying.
