13 Best Moments From Grease Live

And everything last night from the sets, to the choreography to each and every character exceeded our expectations in every way, so kick off those dancing shoes while I attempt to tackle this list.

Kicking things off on a high note (literally), Jessie J slayed the opening number as she made it perfectly clear that Grease was THE word last night. She strutted her stuff through each set, taking El Nino by storm, slaying those vocals and even picking up the original Frenchie and Doody, played by Didi Conn and Barry Pearl, along the way. Take a look:

And we couldn’t be off to a better start, but the show must go on. We were once again wowed as we make our way down the set to the morning announcement with Principal McGee and Blanche, who’s quick wit and one liners couldn’t have been more on point.

Moving right along to Patty Simcox, AKA the bad seed of Rydell according to Rizzo, and the girl we all love to hate, or hate to love, but in our opinion, she didn’t miss a beat the entire show.
Ok, well maybe a few. But speaking of not missing a single beat, we’ve made our way to cheer tryouts when Sandy, played by Julianne Hough, owned her try out, and for once, Patty was speechless.

And according to Principal McGee, if you can’t be an athlete, then be an athletic supporter… ok, well, there are probably better things to be, like a supporting character, because every single character had their shining moment, including one of the pink ladies, Jan, played by Kether Donohue.

Soooo, they're just not gonna acknowledge Aaron for more than 3 seconds? I mean everyone did an exceptional job, but in saying this, they all should get equal amounts of attention. Even though Aaron's not as well known for television appearances, he freaking killed it that night! I truly felt that he was a love sick teen, torn between two worlds with raging hormones. And let's not get started on his sweet angelic voice (especially for a guy). Shout out to Vanessa she was a real trooper :) and Jordon for captivating our hearts through pure talent. But seriously give Aaron a chance, he's very talented :)

I get that he's not the most "notable name" for a channel like this, but come on! Aaron Tveit deserved more than a 10 second shout out before moving on to describe Julianne, Keke, Kether, Jordan, and Vanessa in greater detail. Aaron killed his performance!

For me, the best of the show were Aaron Tviet and Vanessa Hudgens. Aaron (as always) put on such a great performance and Vanessa has improved so much.

Vanessa slayed the role of Rizzo. I've seen many people go grease the musical but Vanessa was the best Rizzo by far! She was so close to being the original Rizzo but with her twist on it. Good job sweetie.

Many GREASE fans are saying "I STILL PREFER THE ORIGINAL", well if you must know nothing can't beat the ORIGINAL. The Production of GREASE LIVE mixed the movie and the musical broadway together and presented us this wonderful rendition. It may not be what you have expected it to be but they did an amazing job of doing their own interpretation. If you LOATHE GREASE LIVE, then I respect that but for the people like me that liked it GOOD JOB for being part of the history.

GREASE LIVE was the best there may had been some teeny tiny tweaks but all in all the production was amazing and hands down for the cast, crew and the whole staff who did victoriously amazing. #BOWDOWN!

im so tired of people saying that aaron is not as good as john. guess what...they are different performers and the entire cast did an amazing job. it was so fun to watch, and yes i wish she said more about him because he really did a great job with dancing, singing, and acting. can't wait to watch it again this weekend online ha

Jordan Fisher's performance of Those Magic Changes, melts my heart every single time I listen to it. His voice is so angelic!

Vanessa just completely NAILED there are worse things I can do and she was an amazing rizzo. Julianne is perfect as Sandy and Aaron was an amazing Danny. Grease live was AMAZING but I thought Vanessa Julianne and Aaron were best
