Bro hitting me right in the heart at 7am before Church . This wisdom and such focus on spirituality is what drew me to orthodoxy when i just believed in Jesus 7 years of looking and researching thinking I'm a Christian but ofc all my experiences God has put there to bring me closer yo him within my heart snd for me to realize thinking and seeing physical evidence is nothing comparing to when I accepted Theotokos and Church and started to do Jesus prayer i had an experience of such warmth im pretty sure it was Theotokos i felt such warmth around my heart I started to cry so hard but from happiness and love not from sadness and amount of comfort I couldn't comprehend.

I am not Orthodox, but why wouldnt you talk to your priest about good things? Such as your gratitude, or your progression in spiritual life.

I understand that they are devoted to the ministry of reconciliation, but they are our brothers too.. Should we not rejoice and be gleeful with them

There is the other part of confession. Where sins were applied on you. Where you were shameblamed and don't want to speak about it. And because you had been shameblamed, you admit to sins you never had done, or never we sins. and here they will have to apply punishment on those that did shameblaming.
