Demons is a masterpiece. Depressing, nihilistic and bleak tragedy with some horror elements. Amazing use of the negative space.

I remember liking this movie. One noticeable aspect is the very dark mood and themes. The violence is surprisingly graphic, bloody, and disturbing. Shot in stark black-and-white cinematography within many indoor locations, this creates a claustrophobic feel. The script relies a lot on dialogue. There are some surprises to be had, as well as a few shocking moments. Performances are good.

If you end up doing this next October I will be sure to watch as well. This year I am trying to watch 31 horror films/tv shows. Most new to me but a few I love and wanted to revisit. At 21 so far and so far Suspiria, Deep Red, Posessor: Uncut and Eraserhead have all broke the 9/10 mark for me!

I love house so much, it’s hard for me to watch experimental films after it hahaha. Stage-play films are super rad but I need that dialogue to be 💯 or I get sidetracked. Great breakdown! These videos are great because watching you reflect on what you prefer ultimately makes me do the same thing. I dig how you bring up the IMDb rating too. You tell us where you stand, where the general public stands, and you make it inviting to tell you where we stand on the film. 🤙🤙
