The gear lever stick seems to have been replaced with buttons, and seems to be used for storage kinda of a "land Rover defender" But Rear legroom has always been a winner for Nissan, compared to it's ultimate competitor Toyota land cruiser 300series.

I think it’s cool Nissan is also going to offer the naturally aspirated 3.8 and 9 speed in it. I’m pretty sure it’s the same VQ38 that the Frontier in the US uses. I’d imagine it’ll have to work harder in this, than the Frontier. I had a 22’ Frontier for a year had some good grunt for sure.

I hired a current series Nissan Patrol in Perth 2 weeks ago and couldn't believe how pleasant it was to drive, but also how hard it was to see out of and the extremities of. This looks like it is going to be worse.

I wonder if the 300 Series will keep being an open diff AWD relying on traction control? And yes I know they have diff locks in top spec. But with every other brand of 4x4 having diff locks including the cheap China made specials they might consider at some point at least a rear diff lock.
