New York train crash injures more than 100 people

A commuter train has derailed at a downtown Brooklyn terminal, injuring more than 100 commuters.
According to the New York City Fire Department, the Long Island Rail Road train, carrying between 600 and 700 people, went off the tracks inside Atlantic Terminal at 8:20 a.m. local time.
The train failed to stop on time and derailed after hitting a bumping block.
About 103 people were injured according to a tweet by the fire department.
While none of the injuries are life-threatening, more than ten people were sent to the hospital.
Officials say the engineer was probably responsible for failing to stop the train before hitting the bumper.
He added investigators will interview the engineer, conductor and brakeman to determine the cause of the accident.
