It is dead, because these look like they were made in MS paint, and major developers are failing to include co-op campaigns in almost all major titles. We have to scrape together a few cartoon-y side scrollers, or be stuck with shooters/fighting games. Adult gamer couples want beefy storylines and long term replay value with realistic graphics. It's almost like they want to isolate gamers further. We don't need help in that department, for mental health sake, we need more local co-op games worth playing. I disagree that these titles make the cut.

Yes i can definately say split screen is dying and the more ppl complain about it, the more something will be done because the consumers buy their games. The squeeky wheel always gets the grease, so people start getting after developers to get their poop together.
