This is the ATLAS experiment at CERN!

It's one of a few places where the Large Hadron Collider smashes particles together at almost the speed of light to create new particles in order to understand our universe on the smallest scales!

Pretty cool science, right?!

Since I’m a bit of a dum-dum I may ask…
Does heat energy get saturated at such high speeds?
I can imagine the particles turning into some sort of heat condensate the opposite of the Bose / Einstein condensate. 🙂
