This liturgical Mass song in Filipino was composed and written by a National Artist, the late (+) Lucio San Pedro, during the 1987 National Eucharistic Congress in Manila. It is an appropriate song for either Entrance, Offertory, or Communion. Rendering this version is the University of San Agustin Liturgical Choir from Ilo-ilo city. Credits to the RTV Malacañang for the original recording of the whole Mass (recorded 25 January 2016 during the 51st International Eucharistic Congress in the IEC Pavillion in Cebu).
“O God, who have accomplished the work of human redemption
through the Paschal Mystery of your Only Begotten Son,
graciously grant that we, who confidently proclaim,
under sacramental signs, the Death and Resurrection of Christ,
may experience continued increase of your saving grace.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.”
(Collect Prayer, Votive Mass of the Most Holy Eucharist)
