High Ceiling - Shipping Container House - Luxury Container Home - Two Bedrooms - Inside an Affordable Modern Home

With an open concept, the house has a high ceiling ( double ceiling height / vaulted ceiling ) with large windows and plenty of natural light. The ground floor has a living room and TV, kitchen, dining room, reading area, office, and toilet. The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub. Outdoor area with seating and gourmet area, overlooking the pool and backyard, and laundry.

This is a container house with three Dry HC 40 foot containers cut in half, plus a 20 foot container for the outside area. It is also possible to use 20-foot containers.

Other striking features of the shipping container home include the staircase with metal, wood, and glass; the toilet disguised by mirrors bringing greater amplitude to the environment; use of strong colors, and the use of interior space.

This shipping container house occupies approximately 20 x 23 feet, with the additional area gourmet it will occupy approximately 20 x 33 feet.

Container house: how much does it cost?
There is a wide variety of finishes that can be used in the construction of a container house, which can be a medium or high standard project, being a very personal decision. The construction of a shipping container house, compared to traditional construction, becomes a faster and more sustainable construction, in addition to not requiring complex foundations.

Is the container hot? No! With thermal insulation, we can avoid any discomfort related to heat or cold inside the container.

I'm usually not into the modern design because it can sometimes feel cold and not homey but this is beautiful. I love the different materials, textures and colors that complemented each other. You would never know this is a shipping container, it's design has evolved and become more versatile in the esthetics. I would live in this home in a heart beat :-)
