I’m black with long thick natural 4b/4c hair. Every time I wash my hair it’s an ALL day event. The detangling, sectioning, deep conditioning, hair mask, stretching, protective styling. It’s a lot. My ex best friend was white with bone straight hair. Only time she went to the salon was to get a summer haircut. Whenever she would invite me somewhere on my wash day, I would tell her I can’t go and she wouldn’t understand and thought I just didn’t want to hang with her. Then one time I slept over her house and we went swimming that day. I couldn’t leave the chlorine in my hair so I had to wash it that night. By the time I finished it was early the next day. The sun was up and everything. She finally understood the process and never bugged me about it after that

Okay, I can now see where guys get the impression that nothing happens when you get your hair done. It's obvious a lot of work went into it, but the end result really just seems like a brushed and curled version of what she had before

Girl! You and I have the same hair! Yess! It’s a pain to maintain lol. I don’t dye it or blow dry because it gets donated to Wigs For Kids so it’s gotta be long and natural. Bet you get compliments on it a lot, like random people at Walmart lol

I used to keep my hair this long but have NO patience for it anymore… props to you for maintaining such thick and long hair… it’s definitely a commitment! Now, my hair gets a couple inches below my shoulders and I’m already fed up and want to chop it again😂

Respect to this lady for maintaining her hair to this length. I lost my patience with mine 6 months ago and cut it off, imagine everyone's horror when they saw my 'soft' and 'straight' hair gone

Kinda looked the same but a tad more blond. I thought jt was GORGEOUS at the beginning. Loved the wavy look. But the end result was gorgeous too!

I kind of feel bad for all the stylists out there who now have to put up with their clients not only squirming, but now waving cameras around at head height and getting in the way while they're trying to get their work done.

I'm genuinely really curious about how much this costs, and how often she'd need to go. It's a minimum of 7 hours so I can only imagine how much the stylists charge for labour costs alone.

Does anyone actually remember where this audio is from? I miss the good ol’ days. I’d sit on the couch watching Barbie Life in the Dream House and play with my barbies while my dad cooked dinner. Those were the good times. No responsibilities, no chores, no difficult school work. Ngl im kinda jealous of my past self lol
