True Love Waits was a song Thom wrote over 20 years ago and was never fully realized into an album until A Moon Shaped Pool, and I have heard a handful of acoustic and alternate versions of the song until the finalized rendition. Upon listening to this version for the first time I almost fully burst into tears halfway through the song, recounting how beautiful it turned out, maturing into the absolute best and saddest rendition of this timely creation. This gem of a song is now perfect. Thank you, Thom.

Thom Yorke wrote True Love Waits a long time before A Moon Shaped Pool but it is absolutely heartwrenching considering that in the same year the album was released Yorke lost his wife to cancer.
