They actually did go with Bizarro becoming Doomsday and it was FANTASTICALLY WELL DONE.

I have a hard time believing they'll be able to do the Reign of the Supermen arc with the budget cuts for next season. I think there's a chance they'll kill Superman, but if they do, it will only last an episode or two.

If they could pull of a death/reign arc even with the budget cuts that’d be so awesome! Then we’d get darkseid involved and I would assume that could be a good series finale, like have darkseid teased towards the end of S4, then he’s the big bad guy to ultimately be defeated in S5. If they want to make it great I think they’ll need to kill off some peeps we care about to really show how serious darkseid is. If they do go this route this needs to be the end because no other Villain would top it, not even brainiac imo. Also shows are better when they don’t go beyond 5-6 seasons max
