I’m on 22 days with no smoking.
He freed me from alcohol addiction 40 months ago.

Grew up in a charismatic church, since age 3 but I was addicted to the lust of the eyes, I was high on insecurity, I was without purpose, just a wondering soul looking for something greater than what we call "life", and then at age 21 I met Jesus Christ once again but what made the difference was that it cost me this time, I left everything for Him and denied myself (reputation, dreams, goals) and I picked up my cross(broke up with gf at the time) and followed Him and He changed my life !! I got to Know God !! (eternal life) you can't put a price on that, heaven is just gonna be a bonus! THANK YOU ABBA FATHER!!!

When she starts lettin' it fly at 19:00, my first inclination was to think "man, she's really milking it", and with that thought the Holy Spirit really convicted me and brought me to repentance. He then showed me just how much beauty and power was in that moment of legitimate WORSHIP... for the next few minutes, my entire body was covered with the most 'aggressive' goosebumps I've ever had in my life, rippling across all of my limbs. The Holy Spirit does way, more than just give us goosebumps, but I can't remember the last time I had them, and WHAM! It was His way of showing me to look at Him, in ALL of His glory, and remember that He has given us a redemption story!!!

at the beginning of the month, someone stole things from my car and after leading worship, i was able to get my stuff returned from the police. i also got into a horrible accident a few weeks ago that completely wrecked 3 cars, but jesus saved me and i walked out of the destroyed car with no injuries. i'm in awe once again.

I love how they changed the lyric “you assume the best of me” to “you perceive the best in me” (just a few times it was sung that new way, I think when Abbie was conscious of it) because assumption implies that God doesn’t know who we are, and that we aren’t new creations… but he “perceives” in that He knows who we are. He knows and relates to us according to our new nature. He doesn’t have to assume anything. We really are born again. It’s subtle but lyrics matter, and I appreciate her attempt to sing it that way!

This song really hits me.
I was once a drug addict for over 16 years, I was in a terrible place in my life back then. I had depression and had attempted suicide twice. I thank him for having Mercy on me when I didn't deserve it. I thank him for saving me and keeping me alive when I overdosed on heroin. His love and Mercy is the only reason I'm still here. I thank him everyday.
Thank you Father for giving me what I need and not what I think I want.

I was an addict and stuck in a depression and I was saved in the midst of my destruction, my heart needed a friend and God sent me a dream that I need to save myself or I’m going to die in my sin, and I decided to go to rehab and seek God even more and found so much more, God is so good and merciful, so beautiful and so loving, I’m so blessed and so grateful for my life, and I will continue to Love God until the day I go home to heaven, God knows my heart and I know him, and I’m so thankful for this opportunity to know God and live with God in mind for the rest of my life, I’ll never forget God and I know he won’t forget me, I pray for the forgiveness and I repent for any wrong doing I may do, but I’ll fight to make myself better each day, God is so good
