Oman Recruitment: Unfair and unacceptable

In an exclusive interview with Times TV, Tawfiq Al Lawati from the Majlis Al Shura has said that Oman’s private sector’s approach towards hiring Omanis is unfair and unacceptable.
While over 650,000 jobs were created in the private sector over the last five years, only 16,000 Omanis got recruited.
He also said that one policy discussed by Tanfeedh was to allow managers to 'hire and fire' citizens in a bid to remove one of the perceived negatives of recruiting Omanis.
The tour of Oman is scheduled to take place between the 16th and 21st of February this year.
18 teams featuring 136 riders are set to take part in the championship, which will be the 8th edition of the tournament since it began in 2010.
