This is really wonderful to hear! Ive been floundering in my newly deconstructed state a bit . the last 40yrs Ive devoted myself to Christ and the church. I left the church 3 years ago, can no longer stand to read my bible and have great joy and gratitude for everything but miss that Oneness sensation that comes with worship. It sounds to me like the act of worship - as long as it doesn't contain repeating things like, 'Im a wretched, fallen creature. :) - is exactly what I need to reconnect to the Source of all things and to whom Im so grateful. I love this. In Mormonism, I sought after God through knowledge and intellect, bypassing devotion completely. I would internally mock those who lacked my perspectives on the mysteries of God and the interpretation of prophecies that my knowledge gave me. Yet inside, I suffered, as still viewing myself completely separated from the One... Still a thing outside of me, and separated from true connection with the Source of all truth.

It was through devotion, opening my heart to the great mystery and allowing the mind complex to take a very distant view of my spiritual practice, that activated a part of me I never want to turn off. My heart is open to Oneness and this in itself turns off the dualistic mindset that causes suffering. Truthfully, you cannot think your way into this state, it must be felt. Can I add... The devotion I feel is to the Self, the One Infinite Creator that lives and breaths in and through me. My acts of devotion are to myself, a celebration of who I am, for I finally see me for who I am. Namaste 🙏 ❤️

Oh how I appreciate you! There is an individual that I happened upon here on YouTube. I knew nothing about the teachings of non duality and so listened to this girl who teaches it. I remember right feeling uncomfortable but listened. She did that thing you talked about, dismissing every question that an individual asked. You could feel his frustration and, honestly, lostness. I was stuck in that advaita teachings for 2 years ...
I thought I understood it and evrybody else was far away for my enlightend understanding.
I pushed live away, but at least my suffering was Less... so was the love gone.

Another way to say it would be : You can’t tell anyone about that they are dreaming until they "wake up".

I was the one still dreaming ...
Took some time so see that clear 😅
