I think most people underappreciate how strong Gordon actually is. Dude really wiped out entire armies of supersoldiers, giant alien biomechs, a whole town worth of zombies and passed a beach full of large alien insects with pretty simple weaponry and didn't even drop a single word. This song symbolises it really well.
